Manually update reviews

Since September 2025, review data in Review Alerts no longer updates automatically. After adding products, manually update reviews to retrieve the latest available review information.

  1. Manual review updates rely on the tool4seller Amazon Product Research Extension. Please install the extension using one of the links below:
  1. Log in to the tool4seller Amazon Product Research Extension.

  1. Log in to the Amazon buyer account for the marketplace where the target product is listed. If the selected products belong to multiple marketplaces, please log in to the corresponding Amazon buyer account for each marketplace in your browser. If you are not logged in to a marketplace account, the system will not be able to retrieve review data from that marketplace.
  2. To update selected ASINs, select them and click Batch Review Update. To update all tracked products, click Update Review at the top of the page. To update a single ASIN, open More for that ASIN and select Update Review. Keep the browser and extension open while the update is running.

View review statistics and remove ASINs

  1. After manually updating reviews, open the Review Summary tab to check the update status and analyze changes in review volume, negative reviews, and average ratings.
  2. To remove multiple ASINs from Review Alerts, select the ASINs and click Bulk Remove. To remove a single ASIN, open More for that ASIN and select Remove. Removing an ASIN stops review tracking for that product.

Note: During the first update, due to Amazon front-end review display limits, the system can sync up to 100 reviews for each star rating. This means a single product can sync up to 500 reviews during the first update. More reviews will be gradually supplemented in later updates.

Why does the product show only 500 reviews after updating, even though the actual review count is higher?

Why were reviews updated for only one marketplace during the manual update?

When using the extension to manually update reviews, you need to log in to the Amazon buyer account for each marketplace in your browser. If you are not logged in to a marketplace account, the system will not be able to retrieve review data from that marketplace.
