tool4seller CLI is a command-line tool that enables AI coding assistants to securely access your tool4seller account data. Once installed and authorized, you can ask your AI assistant to retrieve store, product, advertising, inventory, and other business data directly in the conversation without signing in to the tool4seller console.

Before You Begin

Before installing tool4seller CLI, make sure you have:

  • A tool4seller account
  • A supported AI coding assistant, such as Claude Code or the Work or Codex agent in the ChatGPT desktop
  • Python installed if your AI assistant does not include a built-in Python environment

Install tool4seller CLI

  1. Send the Installation Prompt

    In your AI assistant, enter the following prompt:

  2. Complete the Installation

    tool4seller CLI requires a Python environment.

    Some AI coding assistants include Python by default. If Python is not available, follow your AI assistant's instructions to install it. Once Python is installed, the AI assistant will continue the CLI installation automatically.

Sign In and Authorize

After the installation is complete, your AI assistant will automatically open a browser window for authorization.

Sign in with your tool4seller account and complete the authorization process.

Available Data

Current Limitations

  • User Accounts can use tool4seller CLI to access data for their own stores.
  • When signed in with a User Account, you cannot access stores assigned or shared by the Primary Account. To access data for these stores, sign in with the corresponding Primary Account.

Once installation is complete, you can interact with tool4seller CLI using natural language. There is no need to memorize specific commands. Just ask your AI assistant what you need.

No. Both tool4seller MCP and tool4seller CLI provide access to your tool4seller data, but they are designed for different types of AI tools. Choose the integration that matches the AI tool you are using. You do not need to set up both.

Can I use tool4seller CLI with a User Account?

User Accounts can use tool4seller CLI to access data for their own stores. However, stores assigned or shared by a Primary Account are not accessible when signed in with a User Account. To access data for these stores, sign in with the corresponding Primary Account.
