How to use tool4seller Amazon product research Chrome Extension to conduct on-page research

The tool4seller Amazon Product Research Extension is a data analytics tool designed specifically for Amazon sellers. It integrates Product Analytics, Category Insights, and Keyword Research into one solution, helping sellers conduct product research more efficiently and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of operational decision-making.

Installation

If installation fails, please check your browser version. The Chrome kernel version must be 88 or higher. Please upgrade your browser and try again.

Get Started

Download and login to tool4seller Amazon Product Research chrome extension, then start product research and analysis on Amazon.

  1. Go to Amazon and select any listing or product.
  2. Review the basic product details.
  3. Click FBA Calculator to do a quick profit calculation.
  4. Click Keyword Research to get detailed keywords that the listing or product is using.

After logging in, visit any Amazon product listing page, search results page, or category page. The extension panel will load automatically.

Note: Some features are available only to paid plan users. Usage limits follow the main subscription plan.

Features on Search Results & Category Pages

1. Product Data Overview

Summarizes key metrics of products appearing in the current page's organic search results, including Estimated Monthly Sales, Estimated Monthly Units Sold, Average Price, Average Ratings, Review Count, and Average BSR. Sales performance can be viewed and compared across multiple dimensions such as Product, Brand, Category, Fulfillment by, and Seller's Country.

Click More to view additional Amazon ABA data for the current keyword, including Product Quality, Supply-Demand Ratio, and Search Volume Trends.

2. Action Panel

a. Product Research

Compare detailed data for all products on the page. Supports filtering by Fulfillment, Brand, Tag, and whether Include SP Products. Products can also be saved to the tool4seller Product List.

b. Related Search Terms

Displays keyword suggestions related to the current search term from the Amazon search box, along with ABA keywords and their key metrics.

c. Category Insights

Provides a category analysis report, including Glance Views, Units Sold, Net Sales, Popular Keywords, Favorite Features, Competition, and Return Rate Analysis. All data is sourced from official Amazon reports.

d. See More Product Analytics

Displays aggregated statistics for the top 100 ranked products, including Monthly Units Sold Range (not available for some categories or products), Buy Box Price Distribution, Brand Distribution, Rating Distribution, and Creation Date Distribution.

Features on Product Listing Pages

1. Basic Product Information

Displays core data of the current product, including Category Rank, Estimated Monthly Sales, Ratings, and FBA Fee. It also supports comparison of all variations to help sellers identify high-performing variants under the same ASIN.

2. Competitor Tracking

After clicking Add Tracking, tool4seller automatically monitors changes in the product's key metrics. You can view Change Log, Units Sold Trends, Price & Category Rank, and Rating Trends directly below the product information. More data and analytical charts are also available in the tool4seller Competitor Tracking feature.

3. Action Panel

a. Design Patent Search

Redirects to tool4seller's Design Patent Search by uploading product images, helping sellers identify potential design infringement risks.

b. Listing Quality Score

Evaluates listing content based on Amazon's official listing quality standards and provides AI-powered optimization suggestions.

c. Keyword Research

This tool is designed to help sellers identify high-quality keywords. It includes two modules:

  • Traffic Keyword Reverse Lookup: Identifies the main organic search terms driving traffic to the current product, along with key metrics for each keyword.
  • Keyword Frequency Analysis: Analyzes keyword frequency in the product title and bullet points. Keywords highlighted in green indicate they have not yet been indexed. The number before a keyword represents its frequency of appearance, while the number after represents its search volume.

d. Profit Calculator

Quickly estimates the product's profit margin. It automatically calculates Amazon Referral Fee, Fulfillment Fee, Storage Fee, and other costs. It also supports comparison between FBA and FBM models for pricing and product selection decisions.

4. Keyword Insights

Displays the number of traffic-driving keywords already embedded in the listing, total Search Volume, and Recommended Keywords.

5. Product Research

Click the floating tool4seller extension button in the lower-right corner of the listing page to enter Product Research. It supports detailed comparison of product variations or Amazon-recommended related products, with the ability to save items to the tool4seller product shortlist.

6. Ad Keyword Position Locker

This feature allows sellers to manually target products with precisely matched keywords, securing Sponsored Product (SP) ad placements within the first three pages of search results. This eliminates the need to manually check keyword positions and repeatedly adjust bids.
