What is an Amazon Seller ID and Merchant Token?

The Amazon seller ID, also known as the Merchant Token or Merchant ID, is a unique number that Amazon identifies your account. They are the same thing.

Why I might need to know my Amazon Merchant Token?

Your merchant token is a unique seller identifier used in AMTU, 3rd Party applications, and XML feeds to match up products that you upload with your seller account. If you want to use a third-party reporting software or MWS developer apps, you will be asked for Merchant Token to authorize the sales data of your account to their software.

1. Login your Amazon Seller Central (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/home) and select the "Account Info" on the settings of your seller dashboard. Or alternatively click this link here to the direct page.
